“"What a treat! We've had a lovely week long stay”

“"What a treat! We've had a lovely week long stay and could happily have stayed a second week. The cottage had everything we needed and was incredibly comfortable - a holiday home in every sense of the word. The cottage was ideally situated to allow us to explore both the Gower Peninsular (we loved Oxwich Bay and Rhossilli) to the south and the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons to the North. Thank you Fiona for recommending Carreg Cennan Castle and also your advice and hospitality."

“Absolutely fabulous"

“Absolutely fabulous - cosy home from home with everything you need!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2012 for a stay in September 2012

We had a wonderful three night stay here in September 2012 - at Nant Cottage and didn't want to leave. We wanted to stay somewhere peaceful that had not had any pets in and Nant offered us that. You can hear the sound of Nant River in the background too which was very calm and soothing.

The cottage had been beautifully renovated to a high standard and absolutely everything had been provided/thought of. On arrival, we were greeted by a stunning garden with a heart shaped plaque on the door saying " Welcome" in Welsh. There were fresh flowers in the cottage along with home-made cake and honey too. In addition, the first fire had been set for the log burning stove which was a delightful touch and much appreciated after the long journey.

There was sufficient tourist information provided for the area and there is really so much to do that we completely ran out of time to do it all which of course means we will be back at some point. We visited Carreg Cennen Castle which we loved and had a walk around Worm's Head in Rhossili.

All in all an excellent stay. We would definitely recommend to others and will definitely be going back at some point. Fiona and Andrew were a joy to deal with and we would like to thank them for giving us a wonderful break.

Fantastic Holiday Cottage

“Absolutely fantastic holiday cottage” 5 of 5 stars

Having spent many hours looking online for a holiday let on the Gower Peninsula and failing I eventually came across this cottage which was by far the nicest looking of the ones I short listed. The accomdation was excellent, very well equipped with everything you could possibly need in a self catering property including fast and reliable wifi.
The thing we liked the most were the little touches like the fact that the log burner in the living room had been layed ready for us to light when we arrived and something I found very pleasant was the slate chalk board hanging from a ribbon attached to the front door with "happy birthday" written on it as this holiday was a birthday treat.
All in all very cosy and comfortable stay that we both thoroughly enjoyed.
We would highly recommend this cottage.
