Gower Coast

Just as beautiful in winter as in summer the Gower Peninuslar is a wonderful place to explore with its long sandy beaches, hidden coves and coastal paths.

Designated Britains first area of outstanding natural beauty it remains protected and unspoilt. Many of the beaches have car parks and facilities nearby, but often a short walk will take you to some “secret” beaches (directions supplied) where you may find you have the beach almost entirely to yourself! Whether you enjoy paddling on the sands at Oxwich (voted Britain's Best Beach in 2011) hunting in rock pools for crabs; watching the sun set over Worms Head at Rhosslli; exploring the cliff top coast path (one of the UK's top 10 coastal walks) or pony treking on top of Cefn Bryn with a view across Three Cliffs Bay (voted Britians best view) you will return home with some very special memories.

If you enjoy being active on holiday choose from a variety of water sports, from sea kayaking to coasteering or surfing at Llangennith – voted one of the 'Top 10 UK Surf Spots' by the Guardian.
