New for 2017! Stained Glass weekend workshop

Stained glass retreat

Have you ever wanted to create your very own piece of sparkling stained glass - something special to bring warmth and colour into your home? Imagine treating yourself to a weekend away, making new friends and learning a new skill, in a friendly and totally relaxing environment. There'll be a warm welcome of canapes, cakes and prosecco when you arrive. All meals are provided, including a two course home cooked dinner each evening. All this in the wonderful setting of our award winning Welsh 5 Star-graded cottages.  Your tutor will be Jane Carpenter and her assistant. Her workshop/classroom is just a gentle 5 minute stroll from the cottages. Jane is passionate about stained glass since training 40 years ago at the internationally renowned Welsh School of Architectural Glass. Over the two days you will design and make a glass panel to take home in addition to Fiona's lovely surprise goody bag of Welsh themed treats.

The all inclusive cost (tutoring, materials, accommodation and food (with vegetarian option) is £300 (single room supplement £50). Booking is on a first come first served basis, secured by a £75 deposit (this will be refunded if  the course is cancelled due to insufficient  numbers). Your balance becomes payable 3 weeks prior to your holiday. Maximum group size will be 12, minimum number will be 8 guests.
Please note there are 6 bedrooms in total – 2 king size bedded main bedrooms (these are best occupied by a couple; 2 friends or family members); 2 twin bedded rooms and 2 bunk bedrooms (full adult size with luxury memory foam mattress and a sloping ladder to easily
access the top bunk).  Any of the rooms may be booked exclusively for single person use incurring a £50 supplement.
